Antonio Barone

Prof A. Barone graduated in 1991 as Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. In 1996, he completed a PhD program in Dental Sciences. Prof. Barone completed an European Master’s Degree in Oral Medicine and Surgery at the University of Toulouse, France; he earned the specialty in Oral Surgery at the University of Florence. Prof Barone spent several years as Visiting Fellows in American public institutions. He served as President of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery and Implantology and of The European Federation of Oral Surgery Societies. He earned the position of Chairman of Oral Surgery and Implantology and Director of the Oral Surgery Specialty at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He is member of the Board of the PhD program in Physiopathology, University of Pisa since 2014.
