Giandomenico Biancofiore

Dr Biancofiore is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at University of Pisa and Director of Transplant Anesthesia and Critical Care at Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Pisana.

His research interests are mainly clinical and concern anesthesiology, the management of the critically ill and of organ failures in post-surgical and solid organ transplant patients. Recently, he focused my interests on ex-situ machine-perfusion organ preservation and reconditioning.

He is member of several different international scientific Societies and published exetensively on the subjects of interest
