GRETA BARBIERI

Dr. Greta Barbieri was born in Orbetello (Grosseto) on January 14th, 1988. She was graduated MD at the University of Florence, in 2013. She obtained Emergency Medicine post-graduate Specialization at University of Pisa, 2019. She was Research grant holder at University of Pisa on projects related to ultrasound in acute cardiovascular disease. During COVID-19 emergency she was referent for thoracic ultrasound at the COVID-19 medical area of University Hospital of Pisa, dealing with frontline clinical activity, ultrasound and research activities. She currently works in Emergency Department of University Hospital of Pisa. She deals with clinical, didactic and research activities in the field of Emergency Medicine with specific interest in thoracic imaging. She is currently a PhD student in Clinical Pathophysiology on projects about traumatic coagulopathy and application of viscoelastic techniques in the Emergency Department.
