Giovanna Rotondo Dottore

I am Giovanna Rotondo Dottore and my PhD project focuses on identifying the pathogenetic mechanisms underlying the onset of Graves’ Orbitopathy. During my studies I have analysed various aspects ranging from the immunohistochemical characterization of the affected tissues, up to the analysis of exome (NGS), gene expression of the whole genome (RNAseq), and finally methylome analysis to try to identify genes or their post- transcription alterations, involved in the development of the disease.
